GYNAECOLOGY / OBSTETRICS

Obstetrics / Gynaecology department of POF Hospital is 81 bedded departments. It is divided in 02 units, unit I & unit II with 33 beds each. There are 10 beds in observation & labour room, 2 beds in high dependency & 3 in isolation room.

  • Indoor patient management (Ward)
  • Labour room services (Normal vaginal delivery, instrumental delivery, Caesarean section elective & emergency)
  • Ultrasound facilities are provided indoor as well in the outdoor department.

    • Elective Gynaecological procedures
    • Abdominal + Vaginal hysterectomy, Myomectomy,
    • Laprotomies (Elective + Emergency)
    • Diagnostic laparoscopy
    • Hysteroscopy (recently provided)
